Snowmegeddon 2.0

So I live in the South, I don't know what is happening between Freezmiser and Heatmiser but they are in this together. They told her to combine and freeze all of the USA. Let us put snow down where people do not know how to drive in snow and let them loose. So here we are with interstates closed, people stranded for entire days, and no emergency vehicles that would even get to them. And the snow is blowing and falling off branches and the south is a mess.

I have been in urgent care today due to sinus and ear issues and it's bitterly cold. I had on so many layers the doctor had to wait to take my blood pressure. Atlanta has a million cars abandoned. People are flying and then skidding on black ice and lord help us all.

I had to pick up more meds so I stocked up on soup again and let me say, soup and a few other items were $$$$$$, I looked at the total in shock. Three little bags of items and over $50. I feel the world has gone insane. 

Well, I am off due to being sick, so ate the soup, drank the water and now I am going to lie down. Let me ask you though, what is your weather like where you are? I mean even Florida is snowed in. Sometimes I feel like the apocalypse is coming and it doesn't matter, but taking care of our planet does matter.

I find myself recently thinking of traveling again. I love the newness of a place. I get bored with the old. I like learning new about new cultures and making new friends. I have one more year of college and then I am open to moving anywhere. I would love a job with writing of course as I am an English major, but I do not limit myself to that. Mother's Day and the Sh*t show it will become. I AM READY!

                                             Mother's Day is coming in hot and my mother died.  This will be the first Mother's Day without her. My sister has plans that day, and I do not, but our hearts will be on Mom no matter what we do. There is no running away from grief.  Grief will fill our minds, and our hearts, and keep us focused on her passing away. Our minds will wander to her and wonder where she is in this vast universe. We will think of the last time we saw her, hugged, her, and talked with her. Grief will bring us back to her last breath. We will try to move on, move past, but you know what I have found out, that is BS. We all have our own grief walk to take. We all have our own correct path to move forward.
