Waiting To Hike again!

Georgia is hot for 3/4ths of the year. With a knee that needed two surgeries, hiking has to be on flat land.

For that part of the year you hide in the AC because you cannot even breathe with the heat being so bad. Today is 72 but the humidity is through the roof. So even though it is cooler it is not any better. Now I realize I choose to move to Ga, but summers were not as hot as they are now. Global warming is a thing people.

Hiking is my happy place. I cannot do the more difficult trails anymore, but I manage to get out once we have color. I follow the  state park's map of where the color is and when and when it gets close I grab the camera to go. Red Top and Panola are among my favorite parks to explore for color in Georgia.

I always notice the little details nature has laid out for me to find.

Colors and when they change excites me!

Oranges and yellows excite me. AUTUMN IS COMING!!

This one is from Panola State Park. It is one of my favorite parks to hike. You don't have to walk long or far before you see the colors and light changes.

Follow the path to Bliss.

Bright colors, morning light, fresh air, leaves crunching under your feet.
This is the way Autumn should be. The crunching under my feet makes me happy!  Clearly I am biased and rooting for autumn color, warm sweaters, cocoa, nights with a fire in the firepit, it is my season of happy.

Whatever you season, I know you will enjoy it.  I am including the Leaf watch link for you in case you want to watch Ga change colors and show its glory. I mean it really does show off. Again though, I am biased.

Georgia State Parks  Its worth a watch if you like to see Fall come to Ga. I honestly look forward to Ga State park leaf watch for years and years.

I hope the season you are in is the one you wanted and it not, wait, they come back around again and again. I am thankful for that and wait for Autumn's show all year long. I found my first red leaf the other day and gave it to a coworker and she was as thrilled as I was, which made my day and hers.

110 all summer is just to much. Uncle!!!!! No more Summer. Fall is coming and I am pulling out the sweaters. I am making piles of new clothes to wear. Now it wont be fall temps for months in Ga but I am so thrilled to be waiting for them to come. I feel like a kid on x mas morning all a flutter with anticipation for all the good things that are coming.

I pray you have a great season no matter what it is where you are. May today be a blessing to you.
Happy Weekending, three day weekend here. Thank you Jesus.

Take care of you!
Your Autumn friend,
Debbie
