Computers and Me

Lately I have been thinking about electronics. We hold them, carry them all the time. We are waiting for a beep or a call. We have become an ADHD world. When I leave my cell home I think oh I forgot it and now peace, but everyone with me is on a handheld cell phone and playing a game or downloading something and paying no attention to the people around me.

Computers and I have a love hate relationship. We need people to be able to reach us, but we want to not be reached and enjoy our times off. We rush from one thing to another. We can be reached around the clock.

I love being able to call someone if I have to, but most times than not, I wait until I see them and talk to them face to face, but now talking to someone not face to face can be a generated AI and we really have no idea who we are talking to,

I apologize for not being around, the computer did not want to let me in.  I guess because we were not face to face. LOL I've also been battling some horrible allergic reaction.

Summer in Georgia is HOT. This year I do not even wanna hang the laundry on the line as it kills all the colors of my items I hang. The sun bleaches out my sheets, towels, and clothes, so this year I miss the line, but it has been 105 with the heat index and I just do not have it in me to go out and hang the wash.

I was published in Bella Grace Magazine awhile ago with a story called Line Women. My grandma, then mom, and then me, all hung the wash on the line. Why pay electric when the sun can do the job for you in under 20 minutes. I kid you not, sheets and towels in Georgia take less then 20 min to dry.

Well a big thank you to the hubs for getting me back online and I hope to see you more now. :)

May today be glorious and your life be filled with a true connection with the people you love.

your friend,Debbie
