Chapter 36, the end or beginning, just depending

Chapter 36 The Beginning

Lucious was now thirteen years old. He had buried his great grandmother, though he barely remembered her, his grandmother, and eight years ago his mother. They lived in their brownstone with Ryan. He loved for them and cared for him like any good father would. He did not understand magic, but tried to guide Lucious in to how to be a man of honor and so far Edyln exhibited any magical powers. Edyln was just the grace that held the family together. Lucious and Ryan did not always see eye to eye, but Edyln was special. She had a way of bringing people together. She was queen of the family even at eight years old. Lucious would soon be at his full powers if his mother’s history was any indicated. Melanie had hit her full witch powers about sixteen years old. Lucious had a few more years and Penelope and Alice had said they would take him on as an apprentice and teach him magic. When he got of age, like everyone in his family had, he would go to the cottage in Ireland and perfect his craft. He would study in Ireland and he knew Griffin would follow him to protect him. He was now the most powerful Kellyn witch. He was the last in a line of strong an amazing witches. His family had been protecting humanity from evil and darkness. Lucious would have to too, but not alone. Edyln, though she showed no magical abilities, was amazing at taking people with huge cultural or racial divides and bringing them together. Her grace engulfed all who came around her and they could see past their differences. She was ready to do her own magic. She would bring peace to all who would listen. She and Lucious together were a different kind of magic. They combined spells and words and together were untouchable by evil. They knew they would face troubles ahead, but they had their dad Ryan on their side, they had Penelope and Alice, and they had each other. Blood was always ready to defend each other.  This was a new start for them all. Ryan was along to guide them through life, but they knew as Kellyn’s they had an obligation to protect him too.

And here begins book 2 of the series. While this is in the works, I will be posting other writings on this site for your enjoyment. I seriously have hoped you enjoyed reading this as much as I loved writing it.

Till the next time,
