This Platform

I have not read the comments left in a while. Today I did and Annie left me a comment that was near and dear to my heart. It was about me losing my mom and her telling me she lost hers. Moms are the anchors. We came out of their womb. We were once physically attached and now we are mentally attached as well.

I love when readers reach out to me. We are all interconnected in some way or another. We are all human and for the most part we are just struggling to get through the day, week or month. We have ones we loved and lost. We have had people come and leave our lives. We have seen good and bad in others and yet we keep going.

I know my blog probably does not reach that many people and I only write to connect with others, but in the beginning and in the end, this is our one precious life and what we do from when we are born till when we are gone, that is what matters, who we helped, who we listened to, who let us love them and who loved us back.

This platform has been my saving grade and Annie reminded me of that. She also lost her mother and we all will, and while we are struggling to come to an understanding that our loved one is gone, wouldn't it be nice to know we can help others? Life is short and if we go about it like a guard dog and not let others comfort us as others have comforted us, well what is this world really about?

Just some food for thought.

I pray you are well. I pray you have love and light in your life, and I pray you know that I care, others care, and we will continue to care about others.

May your life be filled with love and light this week and may you feel that you are thought of, and cherished and that you are a bright spot in many people's lives.

Happy Monday/ or Happy Sunday Night depending on where you are.

Shine Bright this week,

Debbie
